June 2016 ACIP Immunization Update – Home Study

This online learning activity will provide the latest information directly from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Following the June 2016 ACIP meeting, APhA’s liaison member to the ACIP, Dr. Stephan Foster, will present the new immunization recommendations and recent changes to immunization schedules, as well as help pharmacists fulfill state immunization education requirements.


Learning Objectives

At the completion of this knowledge-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify how the proposed changes to vaccine recommendations will impact the immunization schedules for children, adolescents, and adults.
  2. Explain how recent changes to vaccine recommendations will impact their vaccination programs.
  3. Discuss information on new or future vaccines for potential use in their practices.

Accreditation Information 

The American Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE). The following online learning activity is approved for 1.0 contact hour of CPE credit (0.10 CEUs).
