  1. Summarize recent changes to the American Diabetes Association Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  2. Describe evidence supporting recent changes to national standards and guidelines for the care of patients with diabetes.
  3. Discuss the application of current standards and guidelines to the care of patients with diabetes.
