Join the APhA-APPM Compounding Special Interest Group for Keeping Your Pharmacy Safe and Secure. This program is intended for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to learn how to identify weaknesses and protect your pharmacy, personnel, and inventory from internal and external threats from a veteran law enforcement officer.
At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify weaknesses that might put a pharmacy at risk for theft, burglary, or robbery.
- Describe what employees should do in the event of a robbery.
- Identify at least three ways to prevent internal diversion of drugs.
