Join the APhA-APPM Preceptor Special Interest Group for Strategies for Increasing Resilience and Improving Mental Health for Pharmacists. This program is intended for pharmacists who serve as preceptors. The goal of this activity is to improve participants’ self-awareness regarding mental health issues and address mental health issues in the students and residents they precept.

  

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the importance of coping mechanisms and resilience for supporting mental health and preventing burnout in health care providers.
  2. Review self-awareness strategies and coping mechanisms that are useful for developing resilience.
  3. Apply tools to help student pharmacists and residents become more resilient.
