Learning Objectives

At the completion of this knowledge-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss best practice pearls for pain management in a busy practice setting.
  2. List non-prescription management strategies for pain management.
  3. Discuss the evidence regarding the efficacy and safety use of NSAIDs and APAP
  4. Given a patient case, select appropriate non-prescription therapies for the management of pain.
