Pharmacy technicians can play many roles in the delivery of pharmacy-based immunization services. This training considers opportunities for technicians to increase awareness of these services through communication with patients and other members of the health care team.
At the completion of this knowledge-based activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe strategies for communicating with patients about vaccines that are appropriate for pharmacy technicians.
- Explain roles for pharmacy technicians communicating with other members of the health care team and community about pharmacy-based immunization services.
