Join the APhA-APPM Medication Management Special Interest Group for The Role of the Telehealth Pharmacist: Communication. This program is intended for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are interested in providing telehealth services. The goal of this activity is to help participants effectively communicate in telehealth practice. This is the third module in a 4-module series on The Role of the Telehealth Pharmacist.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this application-based activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Compare and contrast face to face versus audio only communication styles.
  2. Define shared-decision making process and list 3 health literacy best practices.
  3. List resources to develop and evaluate a health literate communication model.

To obtain credit for completing The Role of the Telehealth Pharmacist: Communication, watch the archived webinar, complete the assessment with a grade of 70% or better, complete the evaluation questions, and then CLAIM credit.
