Using Continuous Glucose Monitoring to Optimize Diabetes Care

Diabetes technology, just like diabetes therapy, is changing quickly. CGM has revolutionized the way people with diabetes are monitoring their glucose levels and is quickly becoming the standard of care. Imagine how much more easily you could help your patients with diabetes understand the way their dietary, exercise, and medication choices all come together to affect their glucose levels if you could get a glucose reading every 5 minutes. This is what CGM offers to people with diabetes and to pharmacists who care for them. The additional insights provided by CGM allow both patients and pharmacists to make decisions that result in better achievement of diabetes goals.

Using Continuous Glucose Monitoring to Optimize Diabetes Care has 4 modules with a combination of 4 contact hours (.4 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit. Each module must be completed in order.

To earn continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit for this advanced training program, participants must achieve a passing grade of 70% or higher on each module assessment and complete a program evaluation. To obtain credit, the learner must CLAIM credit once each module is completed. After credit has been claimed, please visit CPE Monitor for your transcript.
